Park goes to SDSU Jackrabbit football camp
The Park football team made a trip across state borders to do some summer training last month.
A total of 50 Park players and eight coaches participated in the Jackrabbit Football Camp at South Dakota State University, June 22-24. The camp included offensive and defensive position group skills and drill work for the players, along with passing competitions, full-contact scrimmages, and the Jackrabbit Challenge competition.
A few Wolfpack players received recognition from the camp's coaches. Session one players recognized included Jericho Shamberger and Antonio Davis (offensive line), Charlie Gorres (receiver), Grant Glazier (quarterbacks), Payton Shafer (linebacker) and Benny Pierre.
In an evening offensive line board and reach position session, Shamberger was the last man standing in the heavyweight division.
Session two Park players receiving some recognition were Marshaun Campbell (quarterbacks) and Edmond Nkwain (receiver and defensive back).
